In a blistering new disclosure in episode one, Natalie’s sister Lana says Robert Wagner — a person of interest in the death — should be arrested for questioning. When asked if cops should cuff the Hollywood star, she bluntly tells Dylan Howard: “Yes, I do. And they (the cops) would love to. They have been stalled by the District Attorney.” “I think she was either struck, or pushed into the water and left there,” Lana added. “I don’t believe that is was planned … but I do know she would not have ended up somewhere where she would never ever completely go in a million years [water]. There is too much that doesn’t add up to who Natalie is.” ’ Although the initial coroner’s verdict was “accidental death by drowning,” the investigation into Natalie’s death was officially reopened in 2011. The following year the Los Angeles County Chief Medical Examiner amended her death certificate to “drowning and other undetermined factors” after the ship’s captain changed his story.
